1　Scope

This specification defines the general principles and methods for classifying static equipment，and the services and detailed classification methods for 5 major categories of equipment in petrochemical engineering，including reactors，heat exchangers，separation vessels，storage vessels and pressure vessels.

This specification is applicable to the classification of static equipment in petrochemical engineering.
